Biking trips around Moravian vineyards<\/h2>\n

Our wine cellars are located on a wine trail called Podluzi. There is many cycling ways around in the surrounding of the area and there is a possibility to borrow a cyclo-touristic map of the Moravian wine trails.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mounds of Mikulcice (Mikul\u010dick\u00e9 Valy)<\/h3>\n

The Mounds of Mikulcice are a significant settlement from the period of Great Moravian Empire in the close surrounding of Mikulcice. By its area around 100 000m<\/span>2<\/span> presents one of the most extensive archeological site in the Czech Republic. The site is under protection as a cultural heritage. It is considered to be one of the most significant fortified settlements with the arrangement of the town structure with a military character. There is an evidence about settlement of pre-Great Moravian and Great Moravian area with many churchers and artifacts testifying to the presence of Great Moravian nobility.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lednice-Valtice area (Lednicko Valtick\u00fd are\u00e1l)<\/h3>\n

Majestic castles that are surrounded by far-reaching gardens. Flowerbeds that are covered by wide range of flowers. Extensive golden fields changing into green woods. The romantic landscape decorated by lakes, on which surface there are plenty of water lilies. Along the paths, there are many significant buildings. This all and much more was created by the family of Liechtenstein.<\/span><\/p>\n

Castle Buchlovice (Z\u00e1mek Buchlovice)<\/h3>\n

The castle Buchlovice, situated close to the castle Buchlov, belongs to the most significant baroque aristocratic residence located in the area of the Czech Republic. The quality architecture, extensive collections, well-known owners and very important place in the last years of the Habsburg monarchy makes the castle more important reaching behind the Czech borders.<\/span><\/p>\n

Castle Buchlov (Hrad Buchlov)<\/h3>\n

Open-air museum Straznice (Skanzen Str\u00e1\u017enice)<\/span><\/h3>\n

A demonstration of vineyard buildings and their facilities, which is complemented by the vineyard representing growing of wine from ancient time to how it is right now. It is the only exposition its kind in the Czech territory.<\/span><\/p>\n

Palava is located in the north-western tip of the Pannonian lowland, in the warmest and almost the driest area of the Czech Republic.
